This girl, she melts my heart.
The perfect big sister. My little helper around the kitchen. Her specialities are cracking eggs and stirring. My gardening campanion.
Her + this apron = totes adorb.
And the best thing about this apron is that it’s upcycled! To make I used these inexpensive aprons from Amazon and an old shirt of hers that she outgrew from when she was a baby. I apologize for the lack of before pictures, but it was a shirt with ruffles (Pretty common for little girls, right?)
It was as simple as cutting elements from the shirt apart and sewing them onto the apron with just a few straight stitches. You could do this with very little sewing experience. I didn’t even make the ruffles myself!
So what do you think? How adorable is this?
