You know those banana “ice cream” recipes that are popping up everywhere? They’re great because there’s no added ingredients: no extra sugar, no dairy, just plain ol’ banana that’s frozen and transformed into ice cream.
Only the thing is, that doesn’t actually taste just like ice cream. It tastes like bananas.
Maybe I’m just picky because I’m not particularly fond of bananas, healthy or not.
I took the regular banana ice cream idea and ran with it a little. Pecans + coconut + white chocolate + banana “ice cream”. So see? It’s still pretty healthy! And if you take out of the white chocolate then you have no added sugar and it’s still dairy free, so that’s good news too, right? The best part is, it tastes like a decadent dessert!
