I’m not one for barking out orders, but if you’re reading this post I have something to say. Don’t be like “oh, this Sweet Citrus Baked Chicken looks pretty good, I may have to make it sometime” and forget about it.

This recipe isn’t actually new, it’s a post that’s been on H&H for some time, a guest post buried in the archives. And for years I’ve been thinking about how one day I’d finally get around to making Sweet Citrus Baked Chicken for myself. Now that that day is here and I’m wishing I made it sooner. So please don’t make the mistake that I did.
I couldn’t keep my grubby little fingers from picking at this as I was photographing it. The way it’s baked allows the brown sugar to melt into the batter, and the lemon juice turns into a citrus hinted gravy that just brings everything together and melts in your mouth.
It’s a family pleasing favorite that the adults and the kids will enjoy. Give it a try– seriously, right now.
