I admit that when it comes to trying new foods I can get a little apprehensive. As I mention on this blog post quite often, I like to keep things simple. I stick with the same basic seasonings, most of which come straight from my garden, and usually rely on little more than that to make things just right.

The meatballs are a cinch to cook, you find them in your freezer aisle and you can cook them while frozen.
These sandwiches can be as simple or complicated as you’d like them to be; we opted for a quick pesto that we threw together with some herbs in the garden. I’ll include the recipe below. We broiled the baguette with fresh spinach and generous chunks of fresh mozzarella so that they came together in minutes.
