If you’re anything like me, the words “quick, easy and tasty” make my heart skip two beats whenever I’m recipe hunting or developing. Life for everyone is hectic even at the best of times and we’re always looking for shortcuts to take.
We scroll through our Facebook newsfeed and catch up on emails whilst supervising our kids playing at the park. We pay for cleaners to clean our houses because we simply don’t make time to do the vacuuming, dusting or toilet-scrubbing. We buy takeout “just this once” when we’ve had a busy day at work and don’t want to spend time in the kitchen cooking and cleaning.
If this sounds like you, then you’ll be glad you stopped by today. I’m afraid I can’t help you in all areas of life (all I’ll say is that time management is key), but I can help you with deciding what to make for dinner tonight. I’ll give you a few hints: it’s quick, easy and tasty. It’s quite nutritious too, as it contains your carbs, veggies and protein.
Simply by cooking up some pasta, making a simple white sauce and using a couple of tins of the Bumble Bee Tuna Fish Sensations, you’ll have this meal ready to devour in no time. If you wanted to, you could even double the recipe and freeze some of it in individual portions for an easy lunch.
The key to this dish is one thing: quality ingredients. Use the best quality butter, milk and veggies you can find. Also make sure you’re using the Bumble Bee Tuna Fish Sensations as they are simply delicious. Their seafood is sustainably produced and their quality and taste is second to none. Using one of their new flavors is a way to take your regular comfort foods and turn it into something completely one of a kind.
This creamy tuna pasta bake has been a family favorite for a number of years and goes down well every time. I’m not sure where it originated from – I think this is one of those recipes that just “appeared” one day and never left because we fell in love with it! It keeps well in the fridge for a number of days, meaning you can enjoy this meal over a longer period of time.
