It’s almost Chriiiistmaas! That crazy, hectic time of year in which people burn more money than they’d care to think about, that time of year in which family memories are made and the time of year where lots and lots of food is made and devoured. Of course.
So if you’re planning your Christmas baking-list in advance, you’ll be glad you stopped by today. These Red Velvet Christmas Cookies are festive, tasty and easy to bake! Not mentioning, they look something amazing once baked.
I’ve always loved snowball cookies (you’ll find a peppermint snowball recipe, stuffed with Rolos on my blog), and these are no exception. What I love the most about these (apart from their looks and ease) is the fact that you can get your kids to help you in making them.
Kids love helping and getting their hands dirty – and rolling the dough for these cookies combine the two, so your kids can get their hands dirty and be helpful. Win.
Depending on how long you bake your cookies for, you can get soft, fluffy insides, or fudgy cake-like centers. I like mine fudgy so I always keep a close eye on the oven and remove them when the tops are just set and an indentation is made when lightly pressed.
If you like snowball cookies then you’ll love the Peppermint-Rolo variation I’ve got on my blog, so make sure you swing by and say hello!
