When trying to decide what to do with my pumpkin puree I decided to hit the internet. I knew I wanted something savory (not sweet, like a pie), but where should I start? Then I stumbled onto Country Living’s Pumpkin Biscuits. I decided to give it a try.
The recipe was simple, straightforward, and delicious. I wasn’t really sure what to expect from these, as this was my first endeavor into the world of fresh pumpkin preparation. They were light and pleasant, and if I didn’t already know I wouldn’t have been able to tell what the secret ingredient was. Also, it yielded a lot of biscuits, so when holiday season comes around and I need a dish to bring on short notice, this will be on my mind.
