We’re a pizza-lovin’ family. Actually, it may be more accurate to say that nearly HALF of my family are pizza loving. The others, well not really.
So why do I say we’re a pizza-loving family? After all, almost-half of my family DON’T thinck too highly of pizza.
Well, those who love pizza, love pizza. And I mean LOVE pizza.
One family member in particular dreams of cheesy, stringy pizza on a weekly basis. “Let’s have pizza for lunch”, “I feel like pizza” or “guess what I’m feeling like?” are all-too-common phrases that I hear.
So I think it’s safe to say that the love of pizza in this household faaaar outweighs the dislike of pizza.
Therefore, we’re a pizza-loving family.
Pizza is one of those foods that you can’t really play around with too much. I mean sure, you can change the toppings around, make a different sauce for its base or switch up the cheeses, but a pizza still needs a round, bread base, sauce, veggies and meat (usually), right?
So when I made this savory pizza scone ring, I wasn’t too sure how it would be accepted. Would it be abandoned? Or would it be loved?
I’m very happy to report it was loved. In fact, it was demolished. And judging by the speed it was demolished in, I’d say it was VERY loved.
