Every summer I go a little Pinterest crazy dreaming about all of the healthy snacks I’m gonna make for my kids. I have boards on Pinterest dedicated to these sweet concoctions. I’ll mix fruits and veggies and they won’t even know the difference, and I’ll hang out on the hammock eating ice cream and life will be good.
And then summer flashes by, year after year, and I’ve done no such thing.
But hey, at least I’m pretty good at daydreaming, right?
By this time I’ve kind of come to accept that from all of the things that I make from scratch, this will never be one of them.
But looky looky what I found! Outshine Fruit & Veggie bars, made with real fruit, fruit juice, veggies and coconut water. No artificial colors, no artificial sweeteners. So basically, these are exactly what I would make for my kids during my daydreams.

This is them getting silly in our short break between soccer and cheerleading practice. Because quick, tasty snacks are a must when you’ve got 3 kids!
