When you see a recipe title, what is it that catches your eye?
Do descriptive words like chewy, moist or ultimate pull you in?
What about the addition of chocolate or caramel? Maybe those words would draw people in and cause interest in a recipe.
For others, it may simply be the word ‘healthy’ or ‘refined sugar free’.
For me, the words ‘no bake’ never cease to draw my full attention.
It’s pretty self-explanatory, isn’t it? No bake = not turning on one’s oven. Not turning on one’s oven = electricity bills are reduced.
I like recipes that help in reducing one’s electricity bills. They’re mile-high as they are.
What also drew me to this recipe is the addition of crushed biscuits. I love the addition of crushed biscuits in chocolate-based recipes, especially as the biscuit tends to absorb moisture and gets softer as the days pass by.
Oh, and would you like ANOTHER reason why I looove no-bake recipes? You can eat as much of the batter as you like without worrying about salmonella poisoning. I’m guilty of this one.
These bars are soo good. I’m not sure how much of the batter I ate before I made it into the bars, but I can tell you – it was a good amount.
