Happy Monday everyone! For us this week has been all about the girls. I never thought that I would be that mom, but my girls are both doing cheerleading right now. We encourage Coco (5) to do a different sport each season so we can see which she likes best. She loved soccer and gymnastics so far but has been asking about cheerleading, so we let her sign up. My oldest daughter just made her middle school cheerleading squad, which is a pretty big deal for her because it’s her first year trying out.
I was never one for having much school spirit so it’s funny to me to watch them participate in something like this, but it’s been a lot of fun– made even more fun when their toddler brother decides to join in during practices.
Mooooving on, our featured pick this week! I’ve tried making cucumber salsa before without much luck, so I’m excited to give something like this a try: Cucumber Pear Salsa by Unprocessed Purpose. Click the link or the picture to read her recipe!
Homemade Mondays is a series for people that are on a journey to better living, via healthier eating and a more natural lifestyle. We realize that there are different paths that we all take to get to that place, and this bloghop celebrates that. Whether you’re a seasoned raw foodist who has banned all things unnatural, or a rookie who is starting out by cutting out junk food, we’d love to hear from you! Link up with your favorite recipes, projects, crafts, or rants and raves.
