#spon: I’m required to disclose a relationship between our site and Intel This could include Intel providing us w/content, product, access or other forms of payment.
This is pretty obvious, but as a blogger my computer is a pretty big deal to me.
When we moved out to the middle of nowhere my only stipulation was that we needed to have internet access. So we live out in the mountains with no cell phone service, no wi-fi, very little technology– and I’m very glad for the change.
I love being able to go “off the grid” in that way and enjoy time where I’m not getting texts, phones calls and social media alerts constantly.
But when my computer broke a few months ago it was a disaster! But I’ve been rescued by the HP Envy Notebook, part of the Intel 2in1.
My Envy has helped me out in so many ways, I’m truly in love with it. The Intel 2in1 gives you the fun of a tablet but the power and multi-tasking ability of a desktop. So I can take my lightweight Notebook with me to the library, the park, on road trips.. basically anywhere the kids go I can go and actually get the work done that I need to do!
I’ve been using Apple products for a few years so I was eager to check out Windows 10, which was easy to install:
Benefits of Windows 10:
- Can easily switch between tablet and laptop mode
- Offers Virtual desktops, which is extremely helpful for me when I’m multi-tasking. (If you don’t know what it is you can read all about it here)
- The Windows 10 OS is clean, familiar, easy to understand and a wealth of new features
It even has a built in virtual assistant named Cortana to help you out:
From taking videos to editing photos in Photoshop to writing blog posts, this baby has been a lifesaver! If you want to check out the other Intel 2in1s then visit the website, they have a ton of options to choose from.
Are any of you work-from-home-moms? Do you have any life-saving tools that help you be productive while you’re on the go with your children? Leave me a comment and tell me about it!
