This is probably the most fun that I’ve had making a snack in a long time. This post is going to be short and sweet because I simply followed the instructions. Yay me! Because I was making these as a healthy snack for Cocobaby I ommitted the salt (unsalted butter, also) and they still tasted great.
Making the cutters from an aluminum can? I didn’t think it would work, but it did! I know my shapes could use a little work, but I loved the way they came out. We did fish, hearts, and circles.
Seriously, these taste JUST like golfish crackers, but they only have four ingredients: cheese, butter, flour, and water. Who knew they could be so simple? I recommend eating these as soon as they’re out of the oven. I stored them in an airtight container, but by the next day they lost their zing. I’m sure a few minutes in the oven would make them crispy again.
Anyway, check out the beautiful post by Amy to see how to make the cutters and the crackers. Try them today, you won’t regret it!
