Happy Solstice! It’s Friday, the 21, which means that– among other things– my holiday season has officially begun. I am excited for our upcoming week of carefully prepared dinners, warmth by the fireplace, and the look on my girls’ faces as they open up their presents. By the way, aren’t they beautiful?
My favorite thing about Christmas? Gift giving. I love finding just the right thing for that special person. Homemade gifts are my favorite. Even if they’re small and flawed, they show off work and time and consideration. What’s the most memorable gift that you’ve ever gotten? What makes it so special?
Due to traveling, get togethers, and general family time, H&H is going to take the next week off. Even though we won’t be adding any new content, I’ll still be a busy bee. Any free time that I have is going to be spent preparing for the upcoming year: working with other bloggers and vendors to bring you fun collaborations, giveaways, advice, and more. I am so excited about what’s in store for Homegrown & Healthy in 2013.
On that note, I have a request. I’d love to hear from you all, let’s connect! Use this form to give me feedback. What do you love, what do you hate? What would you like to see more of? Do you visit us for the recipes, the crafts, or our words of wisdom? Don’t have anything of importance, but just want to chat? I’d enjoy that as well. You can also email me directly at homegrownandhealthy-at-gmail-dot-com. Oh, and let’s not forget facebook and twitter.
Since I’ll be using some of my free time collaborating on guest posts, let me just remind you that you can share your own homegrown and healthy ideas with us here. Are you into blogging or photography? Or do you know someone who is? Pass the link along.
And last, but certainly not least, I want to extend an invitation to you to advertise with us. You can read more information about it here— there are different opportunities that will fit any budget, including ad swaps and a contact form for product reviews and sponsorships.
I want to send out a genuine, heart-felt, thank you to each and every one of you who follow us and especially to all of the great ladies who contribute content every week. This has been such a fun endeavor and I enjoy it so much. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Enjoy the next few days with your loved ones and we’ll see you next week!
