Frozen Yogurt Blueberries

How many times have you had that craving for something sweet, but you didn’t want to give in to it? I know for me, it happens all. of. the. time.

Now that I am conscious of the things I consume, it somewhat makes it easier to say NO to the cravings.

I have also learned new, healthy ways to eat something when I do crave something sweet.

I not only get to give in to my craving, I am eating something that will benefit my body.  Here is one way to make a  simple snack I enjoy.

Frozen Yogurt Blueberries

Author:

Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt (I use plain, but you can use any you want depending on if you want the extra sweetness)

Instructions
  1. Place yogurt into bowl.
  2. Add blueberries and gently mix up with spoon. You don’t want to smash the berries. (*Hint: If you have time, pre-freeze the berries).
  3. Spread the blueberries evenly on a baking sheet.
  4. Freeze for about 4 hours or until frozen.

Aubrey About Aubrey

My name is Aubrey and I am a proud wife and mother to two little girls. The combination of buying our home (as in, we have our own yard!) and our newest baby (as in, homemade baby food!) created a catalyst that provoked my interest in gardening. In researching this hobby I came across information that really made me question mainstream food. The chemicals and preservatives alone made the mother in me cringe, not to mention what the chef in me thought about the difference in taste. Please join me and my family as we discover recipes and explore the outdoors in our attempt to reconnect with nature.
