A facial regimen is something I’ve struggled to keep consistent in my daily routines. When I first became pregnant in 2006, I began my quest to eliminate unnecessary ingredients from my household and personal products. After all, skin is our biggest organ, and is constantly absorbing toxins we breathe and touch!
However, I still dabbled in using commercial moisturizers simply because my face was so dry, especially in the winter. Eventually I switched to using only centrifuge-extracted, USDA-certified organic coconut oil for the simplicity and ease of use.
When you use pure, high-quality, therapeutic-grade essential oils you’ll find that they are safe to put on your skin; some can treat skin issues such as kitchen burns and blemishes. (Because of lower standards in cultivation, distilling, and production, poor quality brands may even cause a burn on your skin!)
There are so many ways to pamper your skin with essential oils. The recipe below is a great one. Enjoy!
