Hi friends! Aubrey asked me to do a follow-up post about how “The Busy Woman’s Guide To Getting Fit, Fierce, and Fabulous” did since you folks had a lot to do with its success. If you bought the book and/or shared it with your friends, thank you so much! This all would have been impossible without YOUR help. I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.
Freebie Week Blitz
As some of you know, this book was free for 5 days to start with! During that time we hit 18,000 downloads and took the #1 spot in the following categories: Women’s Health, Happiness, Self-Help, and Health/Fitness/Dieting.
And on top of that, we even reached the #22 spot of ALL free Kindle books on Amazon! Since there are over a million titles available in the Kindle store according to Amazon, this is quite amazing!
I’m happy to say that Fit/Fierce/Fab didn’t only sell well, but it was also received well! Below is the current ranking on Amazon, and that is followed by some review excerpts.
“This is the best written piece of work I’ve read about fitness and healthy eating all wrapped up into a funny relate-able book.
I highly recommend this book for everyone. I found myself wanting to hit the “like” button all the way through it!”
“I think what I enjoyed most about this book was how friendly and down to earth his approach is. It comes across like I’m sitting in the same room as my personal trainer, having a friendly conversation with him. His passion and enthusiasm definitely come across loud and clear.”
“Extremely fun, inspiring and insightful. I couldn’t put it down. I’ve never read a book, written by a male, that was completely in my language. I absolutely loved it and I must request that you get started writing a new book ASAP. K thanks bye!”
“Daniel Wallen seems to have stumbled on something that a lot of male fitness professionals miss. Trust me, as a male trainer, I have had times where I felt as though I completely failed a female client. This “something” he has stumbled upon is how to effectively connect with female clients in order to provide inspiration and create lasting change. Are there “hardcore” fitness females out there? Sure, but they are not the majority. The majority are normal women, with normal jobs, and a host of family responsibilities. This book is for them… I highly recommend this book for the everyday, beginner female who is not content with a gym atmosphere and wants to make positive, healthy changes.”
If you haven’t already…

I’m finishing up my second book release, The Quick and Flirty Fitness Thirty!
Quick and Flirty is a 30-day program that combines body-weight resistance training, weight-lifting, metabolic and core training, and all kinds of neat things while giving you freedom to make your exercise routine your own (because then you’ll learn things AND have more fun in the process!).
Below is a before and after progress photo from a hard-working busy woman who completed roughly 30 days of this program:
Not too shabby, eh? And you know what the best part is? She accomplished this without starving herself on a restrictive diet (or even counting calories!). And she also had plenty of freedom to make her exercise routine her own. Takeaway? It IS possible get results AND have fun at the same time… what a deal!
There will be more progress photos where that one came from, which I’ll share on my Facebook page as soon as I have them. Click to *like* the page if you’d like to be inspired by more transformations and get actionable tips from yours truly!
I have not finalized a release date just yet, but I expect to release this book within a month. If you want to be one of the first people to get it, you’re welcome to join my e-mail list and I’ll let you know the second it is available!
I know I already said this like three times, but…
Thank you. Every last one of you. I would be nowhere without those of you who have helped me by sharing my blogs and articles, telling your friends about the book, and everything else you’ve done to help me. Please, don’t hesitate to tell me if I can ever help you with anything. Got a question? Drop it in a comment below, or you’re welcome to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am not shy and don’t bite (hard).
I hope your day is so full of awesome that you don’t know what to do with all of it!
