Nestled somewhere in between trick-or-treating and decking-the-halls, lies this cozy little period of time of pumpkin-spice-everything. When the weather drops and the fireplaces are lit and it’s the perfect time to cozy up in front of the fireplace with a hot cup of coffee and just enjoy some quiet time.
Or, more realistically in our family, you grab your cup of coffee on the go while you’re juggling a million other things and try to find a few free moments to savor it before it turns cold.
As much as we love our lattes, we’re just as busy as we are frugal! Which is why my recipe today is super fast, simple, and it gets the job done without spending big bucks from your favorite corner coffee shop.
This easy DIY latte may not be the official thing, but when you combine in the ingredients in a mason jar and shake it up you get all of that beautiful froth without needing an aerator. And by sweetening our drink with maple syrup and a few seasonings we know exactly what’s going into it.
