These twelve most contaminated fruits and vegetables contain 47 to 67 pesticides per serving! According to the Environmental Working Group, it is estimated that if a consumer avoids eating non-organically grown produce in the top 12 on this list, pesticide exposure can be reduced by up to 80%.
*Please note that this list isn’t in order of hazardness. I actually rearranged it in a way that when I’m shopping I could use it as a frame of reference, grouping fruits and veggies together. And then in alphabetical order, because I’m OCD like that.
