After spending so much time sharing with y’all my struggles of parenting, I’m really, really excited to finally sit down and write this post.
I’ve been really struggling lately. I’ve been having a hard time keeping up with housework, my weight has been out of control, my eating atrocious, my kids restless, I’ve been behind on work…
And then I decided just to take some time and work on me.
You see, I’ve been selfish lately. But like, the type of selfish that makes things better for everyone in our family. Does that make sense?
Look, I bought shoes for myself for the first that I can remember!
And I’ve been USING them, too. I got a gym membership and I’ve been going regularly. I’m doing the Couch to 5k program for a bit of structured exercise. I can already tell a difference in my energy levels.
And, can we talk about food for a bit? I’ve been doing great on the food front. I’ve been cutting out all of the unnecessary junk and filling my belly with healthy, nutritious veggies.
