Every month I work with Foodie, putting together a roundup of foods from the options on their website. This month we’re talking apples, which seems appropriate since we spent the weekend at a local apple orchard.
Seriously y’all, this is my backyard. The orchard is located just a few minutes from where I live. The view from one side:

You know I love my mountains, right?
The kids came along and munched on Apple Caramel Popcorn (my own version is on the to-do list). I sipped espresso and tried to keep up.
We found for Luke what can only be considered one of the greatest inventions for cold weather walks: The JJ Cole Bundleme, which is basically a big soft comfy “sleeping bag” (as Colette calls it) that keeps the baby snug and warm in the stroller. (If you want them you can find it at buybuyBABY.com and BabiesRUs.com). It’s a must have if you’re an active family that likes to tote the kids around on mountain adventures.
Look at him all bundled up, he’s as snug as a bug in a rug.
I wish they made one for adults! Look how happy this sweet boy is:
Once we were done at the orchard we came home with so many apples, and my mind was thinking of a million different things that I wanted to make. Visions of gooey pie and warm cider. Anyway, I quickly scoured the internet and started collecting. So without further ado, you can check out the gallery right here and click on any of the pictures to see how to make them! Enjoy.
