For a long, long time, I avoided bread baking. I avoided it like the plague. I love bread – don’t get me wrong – but it’s a time-consuming process. Making the dough, kneading it, leaving it to rise, kneading it again, leaving it to rise again…I don’t have time for that these days. Life’s busy. Can I get an amen?
So, this is where these rapid-rise rolls come in: the most cheesiest, garlic rolls you’ll ever have. I had these finished in just 30 minutes from start to finish. Yep! You read that right: thirty minutes from start to finish.
You leave these rolls to rise for just 10 minutes before placing them in the oven, and trust me, it doesn’t compromise on taste or texture in the slightest. They’re just as fluffy and soft as their time-consuming counterparts.
The cheesy-garlic combination is something amazing too, for there’s nothing quite like melted, stringy cheese on hot bread. Add garlic, herbs and butter and you’ve got yourself one amazing bread roll.
If by any chance some buns are left over until the next day, simply pop one in the microwave for 30 seconds. Your bun will return to its incredible softness and the cheese will be melted and bubbly again.
